Tasks, subtasks, priorities and due dates
Add tasks, split them into subtasks, set priority and dates, comment and complete them.

Add a task
- Open a project and a task list, then select Add Task. On the board you can also use + at the top of a column for a quick task.
- Enter a title, and if you like a description, assignees, labels, start and due dates, an estimate and a priority.
- Choose Repeat if the task comes back daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.
- Attach files up to 50 MB each, then select Create Task.
Priority
Each task can be Urgent, High, Medium, Low or have no priority. You can filter the board by priority and group it by priority, assignee, type or label.
Subtasks
On a task, use Add Subtask under Subtasks. Drag subtasks to reorder them and filter by Open, Done, Mine or Overdue.
A project can require approval for subtasks added by members (Edit Project → Subtasks added by members need approval). The project manager, an owner or an admin then approves or rejects each one, from the task or from Approvals → Subtask requests.
Comments and mentions
Use the Comments tab at the bottom of a task. Type @ to mention someone; they are notified. You can attach a file to a comment.
Board and table
Switch between Board and Table at the top of the Tasks tab. In the table, select tasks to change many at once: assign people, set status, due date, priority or type, add labels, move them to another list, or mark them complete.
Complete a task
Tick the task's checkbox, drag it to a Done stage, or use Mark complete in the table. If the workflow has rules for Done (for example "all sub-tasks done"), they are checked first. My Tasks in the sidebar shows everything assigned to you across projects.
