Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho orders in one list, on their dispatch-by clocks
Most sellers we talk to do not sell in one place. There is a Shopify or WooCommerce store, an Amazon account, Flipkart, and often Meesho or Myntra as well. Each has its own seller panel, its own order statuses and its own deadline for dispatch. The team spends the first hour of every day opening five tabs to find out what has to leave the warehouse today.
This post shows how the marketplace connections in the TaskSync E-commerce operations hub put all of those orders in one list, with one clock for each order: the marketplace's own dispatch-by date.
One list, every channel
When you connect a marketplace, its orders come into E-commerce → Orders next to the orders from your own website. Each order is marked with its channel, for example Amazon India, Flipkart or Meesho. Orders from your own stores count as Website.
With more than one channel, the Orders page gets a Channel filter: All channels, Website, or one marketplace. Save it as a view, for example "Amazon to dispatch today", and your packing team opens the same list every morning. On the E-commerce overview, the Order value card shows the split by channel for the last 30 days.
How each marketplace connects:
- Amazon India: through Amazon's Selling Partner API, with an app you create in Seller Central. TaskSync reads changed orders every 5 minutes with Amazon's newer Orders API. If Amazon refuses it for your account, TaskSync uses the older one for a day and then tries again, and the store page shows which one is in use.
- Flipkart: through the Flipkart Seller API, with a self-access application from Seller Hub. Flipkart works in shipments, so TaskSync keeps one order per Flipkart order id with a Shipments card underneath.
- Snapdeal: through the Snapdeal Seller API. Packages and sub-orders are grouped under one order.
- Meesho and Myntra: by file. Meesho has no open seller API, and Myntra's is enabled only for approved partners. You download the orders and returns files from their seller panels and upload them on the store's page.
- Unicommerce and EasyEcom: if you already run your channels through one of them, connect it once and every channel's orders come in, each with its own channel, for example "Meesho via Unicommerce".
The dispatch-by date is the deadline
Every marketplace gives each order a date by which it must be dispatched. Amazon calls it the latest ship date, Snapdeal the manifest-by date. Miss it often enough and your account rating suffers.
In TaskSync the marketplace's dispatch-by date becomes the order's ship-by date. Everything that works on time follows it:
- Open marketplace orders show Dispatch by with the date on the Orders list.
- The stale filter on Orders uses the dispatch-by date for marketplace orders.
- Store rules and order flows can make tasks that are due when the order must ship.
- The SLA centre counts orders on that clock, and alerts go out before an order is late, not after.
So the question "what must leave today?" has one answer, for every channel at once.
Marketplace mode: the buyer belongs to the marketplace
Marketplaces do not want sellers to contact their buyers outside the marketplace, and most sellers do not want to break that rule by accident. Marketplace mode is always on for a marketplace order. TaskSync:
- never asks the marketplace for buyers' names, phones or e-mails, and keeps only city, state and pincode;
- makes no customer record for marketplace buyers and adds them to no broadcast;
- sends no rating requests, COD confirmation calls or customer updates from order flows;
- offers no "ask the customer" links on a case.
The order page says so for every marketplace order, so nobody wonders why the customer column is empty. When you run your website through Unicommerce or EasyEcom too, marketplace mode applies per order: your own website's orders keep every customer feature.
Orders the marketplace ships itself
Fulfilled by Amazon, Flipkart Assured, Snapdeal SD+ and Myntra's SJIT or SOR orders are packed and shipped by the marketplace. There is no work for your team, so by default they are shown and marked, and get no tasks, rules or order flows. You can hide them from Orders instead, or treat them like any other order if you want them worked.
Files without the busywork
For Meesho and Myntra, or as a fallback for Amazon and Flipkart, the order file import on the store's page takes the file as it comes from the seller panel. Known layouts are recognised; for anything else you match the columns once and TaskSync remembers them. You see a preview with counts before anything is saved, and an import history afterwards. The same file twice changes nothing, and a newer file updates the orders that changed. Buyer name, phone and address columns are never read.
Returns and the claim window
Marketplace returns and courier returns (RTO) come in as return records. If you tick it on the store's page, each return opens a return case with a claim by date, worked out from the day the item came back and the number of days you set. That is the window for Amazon's SAFE-T claims or Flipkart's seller protection fund; check each marketplace's current rules for the exact limit.
If you also use Inventory & Warehouses, returns are scanned in at the warehouse, each unit is checked against the marketplace tag captured when it was packed, and the claim is prepared with photos before the deadline.
What you can do from TaskSync, and what stays in the seller panel
- Amazon: confirm self-ship orders with the carrier and tracking number, when you allow it. Easy Ship pickups, labels and cancelling stay in Seller Central.
- Flipkart: pack, mark ready to dispatch and cancel shipments from TaskSync. Refunds and return decisions stay in Seller Hub.
- Snapdeal: print labels, hand over packages and mark sub-orders out of stock. Refunds and disputes stay in Seller Zone.
- Meesho and Myntra: nothing is sent back; their panels stay the place for labels and returns.
Every update to a marketplace is off until you switch it on for that store, and each one is kept on the order's history.
A simple start
- Connect your busiest marketplace first and leave the defaults on.
- Save a view "To dispatch today" with the Channel filter and Open only.
- After a week, add the next marketplace, then your returns setting.
